We list below the upcoming time periods during which we expect to have Westin St. John villas of various sizes available. Their usual weekly rental rates, depending on the season, are given as well, effective August 1, 2011.
For the one-bedroom villas:

A deposit in the amount of 50% of the total rental fee is then required.

Credit Card via PayPal:
If you have a PayPal account, you may also make this deposit using
any credit card that PayPal accepts. However, PayPal does not provide
this service free of charge; in order for us to receive the 50%
deposit payment, PayPal will charge your credit card approximately 3%
more. We can calculate for you (using the published PayPal formula)
how much you would need to charge to your credit card in order for
PayPal to forward to us the exact 50% deposit amount.
Incidentally, if you do not have a PayPal account and would like one,
just give us a call, and we will tell you how to set one up. It is very
easy to do.
When Paying by Check:
When paying the deposit by check, please make sure that the check is
made out in favor of ...
We Will Let You Know.
Regardless of the deposit payment method you elect, once we receive
your deposit we will let you know immediately via e-mail, and we will
consider your reservation confirmed.
Your Starwood/Westin Reservation Number:
About one week later, we will e-mail you a Starwood/Westin reservation
number. With this, you can (and should) confirm your reservation with the
Westin St. John Resort FRONT DESK immediately. You may reconfirm your
reservation with the Resort as many times as you wish until your day
of arrival. We will provide instructions about how to do this when we
e-mail you your Starwood/Westin reservation number.
The Balance of the Rental Fee ...
must be received by us at least 45 days prior to your arrival. The
methods of payment are the same as those for the 50% deposit. (See above.)
If you make this second payment by check, feel free to use USPS first class
mail, if you wish. But please know that
US mail arrives on St. John much later than the post offices in the
States will advise you: First class or priority mail averages about 10 days
time to get here. The maximum time we have seen is two weeks. So please
allow for this delay; things simply move more slowly in the Caribbean.
Again, when we receive this final payment we will let you know immediately
via e-mail.
Final Payments That Are Late.
If we have not received this final payment in full by 45 days prior to the
arrival date, your villa time will become subject to rental to another party.
By Check:
Payment may be made via personal check, cashier's check,
or certified check. All checks must be denominated in US funds.

Then send this check to us via US Post Office Express Mail,
US Post Office Priority Mail WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, FedEx,
or UPS. Regardless of the service you choose to use, you
will be provided with a tracking number. Please send us this tracking number
via e-mail. If we do not receive your tracking number within two
business days after you receive our return e-mail reservation commitment,
your reservation will be canceled.
Reservations Made Closer to the Arrival Date. We certainly do accept reservations made less than 45 days in advance, and we will be happy to work with you on these. In these cases, however, full payment of the total rental fee will be required, again using one of the methods of payment above.
Finally, for last-minute bookings, we will do our best to provide you with the accommodations that you need at the Westin St. John. We handle last-minute reservations on a case-by-case basis. Just give us a call -- using one of the telephone numbers below -- or send us an e-mail message. You will find us to be very responsive.

If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with a Westin villa due to differences in taste according to decor, specific location on the Resort, or any aspect of the stay for which the Westin Resort and its staff are responsible, and declines to stay in the villa, this will be considered a cancellation and no refund will be made. However, please note that the Westin St. John is very sympathetic to those of its guests who are dissatisfied with their accommodations for any legitimate reason. So, you may request to be moved to a comparable villa, and usually the Resort will be happy to make that possible for you (subject to availability). In other respects it has been our experience that the Westin St. John will go out of its way to apologize to you for any disappointment you may have with the Resort service. The Westin St. John is one of the finest resorts in the Caribbean, and after more than 10 years of providing Westin rental villas to St. John visitors, we can tell you that these kinds of disappointments are unusual.
Finally, we will provide you with a full refund for those days of your scheduled visit during which the Resort is closed for any reason.
